Description
TASIGNA capsules is used to treat a type of leukemia called Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myelogenous leukemia (Ph+ CML) in adult patients who: are no longer benefitting from another treatment, including treatment with imatinib; have taken other treatments and cannot tolerate them
|
Directions
Take TASIGNA:
•At least 2 hours after eating any food, and
•After taking TASIGNA, wait at least 1 hour before eating any food
•Swallow the capsules whole with water.
•Do NOT open the capsules.
•Avoid grapefruit, grapefruit juice, and any supplement containing grapefruit extract while taking TASIGNA. Food and grapefruit products increase blood levels of TASIGNA in your body.
•If a dose is missed, take the next dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose to make up for the forgotten capsules.
