This medicine is an HIV protease inhibitor used in combination with other medicines to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. This medicine is not a cure for HIV.
Directions
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. This medicine comes with a patient information leaflet. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions you may have about this medicine. TAKE THIS MEDICINE WITHIN 2 hours of a full meal or large snack. Talk to your doctor before including grapefruit or grapefruit juice in your diet. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C), in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. Brief storage between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is permitted. Take this medicine regularly to receive the most benefit from it. Taking this medicine at the same times each day will help you to remember.
Cautions
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medicine include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, stomach upset, heartburn, gas, headache, dizziness, blurred vision, dry lips/skin, taste changes, tiredness, sleeplessness, night sweats, or warts. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor.
