Description
This medicine is a vitamin, mineral, iron, folic acid, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), and stool softener combination used to treat or prevent a lack of vitamins or minerals before, during, and after pregnancy and while breast-feeding.

Directions
Follow the directions for taking this medicine provided by your doctor. This medicine may be taken on an empty stomach or with food. If stomach upset occurs, take with food to reduce stomach irritation. TAKE THIS MEDICINE WITH A FULL GLASS OF WATER (8 oz/240 mL). DO NOT TAKE ANTACIDS within 1 hour before or 2 hours after you take this medicine. AVOID TAKING THIS MEDICINE WITH DAIRY PRODUCTS because they may interfere with the absorption of the iron in this medicine. Many medicines (eg, used for infection, blood pressure, osteoporosis, thyroid problems) should not be taken at the same time as this medicine because their effectiveness may be decreased. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if your dose of this medicine should be separated from your dose of any of your other medicines. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C), away from heat, moisture, and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Cautions
DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE if you have had an allergic reaction to it or if you are allergic to any ingredient in this product, including soy, fish, or fish oil. Some brands of this medicine may contain soy or fish oil. If you have had an allergic reaction to these ingredients, ask your pharmacist if your brand contains soy or fish oil. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE without checking with your doctor. THIS MEDICINE MAY DISCOLOR THE STOOLS. This is normal and not a cause for concern. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINES, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. DO NOT TAKE large doses of vitamins while taking this medicine unless directed by your doctor. FOR WOMEN: THIS MEDICINE IS INTENDED FOR USE DURING PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you use this medicine, check with your doctor.

Side Effects
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medicine include constipation, dark or discolored stools, diarrhea, nausea, stomach upset, or vomiting. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience black, tarry stools; blood or streaks of blood in the stools; or stomach pain or cramping. AN ALLERGIC REACTION to this medicine is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, hives, itching, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest, or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. This is not a complete list of all side effects that may occur.
