Description Relieves dry irritating coughs and helps you breath more easily. Benylin dry cough is used to help relieve dry irritating coughs. Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine which helps to produce a drying effect in the nose and chest, which along with the levomenthol, helps you breathe more easily by easing congestion. Dextromethorphan is an antitussive which means it helps to stop you coughing.
Directions Adults, Elderly (over 65) and children over 12 years: Take two 5 ml spoonfuls four times a day. Maximum daily dose 40 ml. Children 6 to 12 years Give one 5 ml spoonful four times a day. Maximum daily dose 20ml. Children under 6 years Not recommended
Ingredients Active ingredients: Diphenhydramine hydrochloride Ph Eur 14 mg, Dextromethorphan hydrobromide Ph Eur 6.5 mg and Levomenthol Ph Eur 2 mg. Inactive ingredients: glucose syrup, glycerol, sugar solution, sodium citrate, saccharin sodium, citric acid monohydrate, sodium benzoate, caramel, raspberry flavour, alcohol, carbopol, colouring (El 24) and water
