Description
Chemical Name: DEXAMETHASONE (dex-a-METH-a-sone)Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid similar to a natural hormone produced by your adrenal glands. Dexamethasone relieves inflammation and is used to treat certain forms of arthritis, skin blood kidney, eye, thyroid and intestinal disorders, severe allergies and asthma. Dexamethasone may also be used to prevent rejection of transplanted organs and certain types of cancer.
