Description Econazole exhibits antifungal activity against a wide variety of fungi including, dermatophytes, pathogenic yeasts and moulds. Econazole appears to act by altering the internal structure or cell membrane permeability of the fungus.
Cautions SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication include local skin irritation and burning or stinging sensation where the medication is applied.
