Chemical Name: HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE (hye-droe-klor-oh-THYE-a-zide)

Hydrochlorothiazide is a TABLET and CAN be split in half, except for the 12.5mg strength.

Hydrochlorothiazide is used to treat high blood pressure and fluid retention caused by various conditions, including heart disease.

Cautions
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication includes muscle weakness, dizziness, cramps, thirst, stomach pain, upset stomach, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, headache and hair loss.
