Chemical Name: CALCITONIN (kal-si-TOE-nin) Miacalcin is stored in the refrigerator in the pharmacy. It can be kept at room temperature for up to 30 days. Therefore your order will NOT be damaged during shipping. When you receive it store it in the refrigerator if you are NOT going to use it immediately. Miacalcin is used to treat women with postmenopausal osteoporosis (bone loss). It is used together with calcium and vitamin D.
