Description This medicine is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections.
Cautions SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medicine include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and headache. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience vaginal irritation or discharge. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience sore throat, fever, unusual bleeding or bruising, yellowing of skin or eyes, stomach pain, mucous or blood in your stools, or seizures. If an allergic reaction to this medicine occurs, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash; itching; dizziness; swelling of hands, face, lips, eyes, throat, or tongue; difficulty swallowing or breathing; or hoarseness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
