ORTHOVISC mini has the same trusted formulation as ORTHOVISC, only in a smaller volume that’s just right for small joints. ORTHOVISC mini is supplied in a prefilled syringe containing 1 mL of sodium hyaluronate dissolved in physiological saline. Treatment is convenient and requires only three intra-articular injections over two weeks.

ORTHOVISC® mini is a safe, targeted way to treat the symptoms of osteoarthritis (OA) in small synovial joints. Viscosupplements have been proven in small joints such as:

* First carpometacarpal (CMC) joint - the thumb

* Metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint - the big toe

* Talocrural joint - the ankle
