Description
Helps shrink swelling of irritated hemorrhoidal tissues. Gives prompt temporary relief from the painful burning, itching and discomfort of hemorrhoids.
Uses Temporarily shrinks hemorrhoidal tissues and gives temporary relief of the itching, burning and discomfort associated with hemorrhoids.

Directions
Adults -- When practical, cleanse the affected area by patting or blotting with an appropriate cleansing tissue. Gently dry by patting or blotting with toilet tissue or a soft cloth before insertion of this product. Detach one suppository from the strip. Remove foil wrapper before inserting into the rectum as follows:Hold suppository with rounded end up. As shown, carefully separate foil by inserting tip of fingernail at end marked "peel down". Peel foil slowly and evenly down both sides, exposing suppository. Remove exposed suppository from wrapper.Insert one suppository into the rectum up to 4 times daily, especially at night, in the morning or after each bowel movement. Regular application and lubrication with Preparation H Suppositories provides continual therapy for relief of hemorrhoidal symptoms. Children under 12 years of age: Consult a doctor.

Cautions
In case of bleeding or if condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, consult a doctor promptly. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage unless directed by a doctor. Do not use this product if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland unless directed by a doctor. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.
Interactions
Do not use this product if you are presently taking a prescription drug for high blood pressure or depression, without first consulting your doctor.
